So I was watching Bridget Jones the other night with my lovely friend Katie, and much to my dismay I realise I am heading in a very straight line up Bridget Jones street... I need to get a u-turn in there and get back on the right side of the road.
All advice welcome...

Advice?
Never watch a film starring Renée 'I'm not ditzy, I'm quirky' Zellweger.
Never ever watch a film with Hugh 'er, terribly sorry' Grant in it.
And (here's the key) never, ever, ever, even under pain of death, attempt to take life lessons from a film starring Hugh Grant AND Renée Zellweger!!
No, as mentioned to Rosa on Msn, it is possible to have Bridget Jones moments - unfortunatly i seem to be stuck in her boots and seem to have just as much luck with men. :(
why is Bridget the archetypal 21st century female? ask yourselves that girls...you covet what you see, even if it's not 'good', you want it because it's all you can imagine. there are so many other options, so many other females to aspire to, fictional or real, it's your own fault if you don't seek them out and learn. it's easy to think of Bridget and weight issues and botched femininity, it's a lot harder to delve deeper and transcend yourselves. seriously, feminism may seem like an antiquated notion in 2007 but it may point the way somewhere else...but i guess being force-fed ideas of bridget jones as an everywoman suits fashion mags, make-up manufacturers etc etc. DO YOU UNDERSTAND...nevermind girls, it doesn't matter
Who are you tronic?
